As part of collaboration with relevant authorities to enhance preventive measures, the Ministry of Municipalities: linking the service for issuing and modifying travel permits with the 'Tawakkalna' application

As part of efforts to enhance precautionary measures and preventive measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus, and in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs has announced an update to the issuance and modification of travel permits for entities exempt from the ban. This update includes integration with the 'Tawakkalna' application to enable exempted establishments from curfew restrictions to obtain permits electronically through the 'Baladi' platform, with easy and convenient steps, without the need to visit relevant authorities. The ministry has urged owners of exempted establishments with previous travel permits or those wishing to apply for a new permit to update their requests via the 'Baladi' platform and complete the procedures to obtain electronic travel permits. It's worth mentioning that the issuance of travel permits is one of the new services recently launched by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs to serve individuals exempted from the curfew in the Kingdom. Recently, it has been linked with the 'Tawakkalna' application, newly developed by the National Information Center (NIC), the operational arm of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, 'SADAIYA,' to facilitate the service for beneficiaries from entities and individuals and manage the curfew period during the COVID-19 pandemic
